A native of Blakely, Georgia, Willie C. Lindsey was born march 10, 1930, to the late Griggs and Anna Lindsey. He departed his earthly life on Friday, December 14, 2018, at home.
Willie C. received his education in the Early County School System. Early in life, he accepted CHRIST as his Personal SAVIOR and joined Saint Maryland Missionary Baptist Church in 1942. He served as President of the Usher Board. Willie C. was employed with Early County Department of Corrections until his retirement in 1995.
Willie C. met the former Rose Barber. They shared married life together for fifty-three years.
He was preceded in death by his children Charles E. Lindsey, Johnny Lindsey, Patricia Ann Booker, Ronald Hutchin and Larry Gilbert; and his siblings Floy Lindsey, Mollie Jackson, Vera Lindsey Crankfield, W.C. Lindsey and Willie B. Keith.

Leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rosa Barber of Blakely, Georgia; his children Eva Troupe of Pembroke, Florida, Pinkie Smith of fort Pierce, Florida, Clifford Lindsey (linda) of Austin, Texas, Earl Boozer, Gregg Hutchin, Derrick Hutchin, and Takila Henderson (torris), all of Blakely; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Henry Jones of Blakely; as well as, a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors who love and will miss him.
