Abraham “Daddy Abe” Henderson was born on September 26, 1951 in Blakely, Georgia to the late Mack and Pecola Henderson. On August 19, 2018 God called his weary servant home to rest.
Abraham married Janie Marie Henderson and was blessed with 28 years if wedlock. He devoted over 40 years of his life to the plumbing trade. One of his finest accomplishments was knowing that he passed his knowledge of the trade on his to his sons, grandsons, and nephews.
As he takes his place in his new home he will not be alone. Abraham was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Lee Foster (brother), Corene Thompkins (sister), Annie M. Addison (sister), Chrishawana (grandchild), and two brothers in law Sammie Hamilton and Wallace King.
Abraham leaves behind 7 children: Abraham Henderson Jr., Tracy Bell Henderson, Antwan Henderson (DeAundra), Antoshia Henderson, Alona Bryant (Al), Alix Henderson, and Latrika Gadson. 23 grandchildren: Sumorya, Shatorya,Tyshae, Markal,Herbert, Abraham 111, Abriel,Abram, Andre,Abrian, Camron, Diamond, Essence, Antwan Jr., Diaonte, Roneil, Jeremiah, Khamrin,Danajah, Russell, Nehemiah, Auntania, and A’Nyhia. 5 sisters: Jeannette Hamilton, Minne Joseph (Willie), Mae Pearl King, Mary L. Henderson, and Annie H. Wright. 7 Brothers: Willie Sol Jr. (Neil), Joel Henderson (Maria), Donell L. Stewart, Johnny L. Henderson (Diana), Mack Henderson Jr. (Annie), Willie Henderson (Doretha), and Detrick Peoples. And a host of great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
