Alonza Fedd, Sr. was born on September 7, 1958, to the late Henry Lewis and Hurley Mae Fedd in Donalsonville, GA.
Alonza departed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2024.
“Lundy”, as he was affectionately known by his friends and family, grew up in Donalsonville, GA.
He attended Seminole County High School, then later achieved his General Education Diploma. Alonza enlisted in the US Army where he served for 4 years. Upon returning home he began his lifelong profession as a master painter and carpenter.
Alonza leaves a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by one son, Alonza Fedd, Jr. of Anchorage, AK; two daughters, Michelle (Isom) Williams of Jefferson, GA and Alona Fedd of Donalsonville, GA; an adopted son, Dwayne Orange; five brothers, Willie (Hyon) Fedd and Joe Fedd both of Albany, GA; Leroy (Viola) Fedd of Buena Vista, GA; Alfred Fedd of Jacksonville, FL and Robert Leonard of Donalsonville, GA; two sisters, Anna (Elbert) Boston of Douglasville, GA and Patricia Greene (Booker) of Donalsonville, GA; three grandchildren, Asan Williams, Isom Williams III, and Haven Williams; a special friend, Layrisha Orange; a host of nieces and nephews, along with countless friends and family who were blessed to have known him.
Alonza is preceded in death by two sisters, Clemmie McClain and Theresa Fedd, and two brothers, Alfonzo and Frank Fedd.
The viewing will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 3:00 a 7:00 pm at Community Funeral Home in Blakely, GA.
The homegoing service will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11:00 am, at the Community Funeral Home Chapel in Blakely, GA. Alonza Fedd, Sr. will be laid to rest at the Fedd Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. The repass will follow immediately after at St. John Community Center in Donalsonville, GA.
