Alva L Lett

The lord in his infinite wisdom deemed it timely to call our beloved Alva Lett to her eternal resting place on January 19, 2018. Her departure is a deep and personal loss to her friends and family.

She was born to Mrs. Dollie and Mr Murray Salter on July 20, 1931.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents;daddies Johnnie Stanferd an Ed Mallard; sisters JoAnn, Catherine and Leina; and brothers T.S., John Henry, Nathaniel and Tommie.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Herman (Linda) Lett, Harry (Emma), Gloria,Carol Sue, Ganell, Diane, Harriette (Wayne), Jackie (Cee Cee), Jan and Shirley; grands: Jerry, Chandra, Kathleen, Raymond, Herschel, Meyone, Michelle, Stuart, Kyle, Stephen, Jared, Nakia, Kellie, Julius Jr., Ramon, Sterling, Katrina, Whitney, Mark, Sandra, Charleston, Kimberly, Andre, Cedric, Dee Dee, Derrick, Nicole, and Andre P., sixty great grands and one on the way(Jazmyne); her one and only great great grand, Travarius Powell; sisters: Marie B. Mallard, Annie C. Mallard, and Ann S. Henry; Brother, M.C. Mallard; and a special sister-in-law, Quida Salter. She also leaves to cherish someone whom she loved dearly, Lewis "Bubba" sanders, and her pepper friend, Mrs. Bonnie Ruth.
