Annette Upson

On Saturday, September 30, 2017, the Angel of Silence visited Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama, with chilly fingers and selected the lips of a loving mother, Annette Upson.

Annette was born on July 21, 1954, in Blakely, Georgia, to the late Eddie Upson and Mary Lizzie Upson. She became a member of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shewanna Upson; two brothers, Willie D. Upson and Walter C. Upson; one sister, Betty Upson; and a granddaughter, Skylar Webb.

With loving memories she leaves to mourn two sons, Nicholas Upson and Trevino Upson, both of Blakely, GA; two daughters, Heather Upson and Kakeyla Upson, both of Blakely, GA; three brothers: Leroy Upson (Patricia), Eddie B. Upson (Gwen), both of St. Petersburg, FL, and Johnny Upson of Blakely, GA; and five sisters: Eddie Mae Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Sara Marshall of Columbus, GA, Johnnie Mae Powell (Tommie C.) of St. Petersburg, FL, Annie Doris Gilbert of Pensacola, FL, and Jeanette Upson of Blakely, GA. She leaves to cherish her memories sixteen grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a loving and longtime friend, Dianne Henderson; as well as other relatives and friends.
