Annie Jeanette Powell

Annie Jeanette(George) Powell,63, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, died Thursday, October 25, 2016 at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

Mrs.Powell was born May 23, 1953, in Colquitt Ga, to the late Willie Henry and Bessie Mae George. She was a Housekeeper Aide at Sands Treasure Island Resort.

She was preceded in death by her brother Charles Edward George.

Survivors include one son Richard George(Vinneth) of Blakely, Georgia; five grandchildren: Christopher Worthy(Danielle) of Naples, Italy, Chasity George Stapleton(Kahlil) of Blakley, Ga, Brianna Wade of Fort Irwin, California, Dequanta George of Atlanta, GA, and Nykeia Sheffield of Albany GA,; three great grandchildren: Reagan Worthy, Zayden George, and Karson Stapleton; Six sisters: Flora Battle, Martha George, Vera Glenn(Eddie), Kassandra Smith(Eddie), Charlotte George,and Teresa George, all of Blakely, Ga; Three Brothers: Eddie Lee George(Mary), Herman George, both of Colquitt, Ga and Michael George of Blakely, Ga; one aunt, Annie Mae Price of Cocoa, Florida; two uncles, Neal Freeman Jr,(Claudine)of Colquitt, Ga and Henry George(Louise) of Pennsylvania; A very special friend, Honora Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services was Wednesday, November 02, 2016 at, 11a.m. at Community Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Stapleton officiating. Interment followed in the Saint Maryland cemetery.

Active Pallbearers were friends of the family..
