On October 3, 1969, an angel was sent to our family, that being Beverly Ann Reed. Her parents were the late Reverend Boyzell and Sister Alvina Reed.
Beverly joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. There, she served faithfully as a Choir Member.
On August 15, 2021, Beverly Reed, age 51, transitioned to Eternal Life by answering GOD’S Call. She was preceded in death by her four nephews Tony Roger Allen, Cyrus E. Butler II, Cyrion Butler and Lamontrae Smith; and her four nieces Korynda Reed, Shawana Upson, Tiffany Allen and Danyle Wimberly.
She leaves to mourn a very loving, dedicated and caring family: her two daughters Kenyetta James (Cameron) of Blakely, Georgia, and Jalisa Batten (Quantrell) of Fort Gaines, Georgia; granddaughter Abrielle James of Blakely; daughter-in-love Cassandra James of Blakely; brother Albert L. Reed Sr. (Mary) of St. Petersburg, Florida; four sisters Sara Allen, Mary Jackson, both of Blakely, Lillie Richardson (Anthony) of Colquitt, Georgia, and Jollie Igles (Jerry) of Albany, Georgia; special nephews Kendrick Reed and Gerald Tolbert Jr., both of Blakely; special nieces Iiyawna Stapleton, Destiny Reed, both of Thomasville, Georgia, Cecilia Butler (Demetrious Sr.) of Dawson, Georgia, and TeQuillia Jackson of Blakely; special friend Sonny Wimberly of Blakely; and a host of additional loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
