Cenell Davis passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 79 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. She was surrounded by her family, loved ones and closest friends.
Cenell was a twin daughter of the late Woodrow George Sr. and Annie Lee Reynolds George. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Hammond Davis; and seven children: daughters: Genette Comfort, Brenda A. Eaford, and Dorothy A. Hall and spouse Ken; sons: Ricky Davis and spouse Keitha and Terry E. Davis and spouse Vicki; and stepdaughters: Linda Davis and Carolyn Davis, both of Ft. Myers, Florida; one son, David L. Eaford, preceded her in death.
Three siblings--Andrew George, James George, and Ruby L. George--predeceased her. She leaves behind seven siblings: her twin, Inell West, Mildred Lee and spouse Dan, Abraham George, Woodrow George, Annette Brown, Willie George and spouse Paula, and Marvin George.
Cenell was an incredible grandmother with twenty grandchildren: Brian Eaford, Nicole J. Brown, William-Brandon Comfort, Natalie A. Comfort and spouse Daniel Rivera, Brooke LeAnn Hall, Kendrix Hall, Jasmine Williams, Nieco Williams, Tylan Davis, Ricky Williams, Courtney Craddock, Deronte Favors, Ashley Davis, Quenterrious Davis, Devontay Stapleton, Jasmine Bennett, Jaterious Stapleton, Desmond Stapleton, Latarrious Stapleton, and Smyrna Davis. She will be truly missed by her many great grandchildren, including Enya Jasmyne Priester, Bentlie O’Neal, and Hayden Rivera Comfort; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
