Cleotis Hooks, Jr. was born in Vienna, Georgia, to Dicy Harris Flowers and Cleotis Hooks, Sr. on August 17, 1936.
He accepted CHRIST as his LORD And SAVIOR and joined Saint Paul Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Blakely, Georgia.
Cleotis was married for sixty-three years to the former Juanita Jones. He worked for the City of Blakely for five years. He retired from the State of Georgia Department of Transportation as a Heavy Machinery Operator after twenty years of service.
Cleotis was preceded in death by his mother, his father, his stepfather, one brother, one sister, one daughter and one granddaughter.
He departed his earthly life on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at his home.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Juanita; two children Johnny Hooks of Albany, Georgia, and Sandra Hooks of Blakely, Georgia; eleven grands; eight great grands; two sisters; one brother; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
