Daniel Scott, aka “Scube Roberts, Scott”, was born in Kirksville, Missouri on January 15, 1961. His parents were Sarah Ann Griffey and Dan Chester Roberts; his stepdad, Jerry Hagler raised him.
From a previous marriage, he had a son, Aaron Scott Roberts (Mandi), children, Hudson and Aarley.
Scott passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2022, surrounded by his wife of thirty-three years, Georgia Anne Roberts; their daughter, Cher Kyle; cousin, Judi Brake and his wife’s sister, Marie Jones and their brother and wife, Richard and Alida Ward; also a family friend, Darrell Pinkney was present.
Scott graduated from Stone Mountain High School in 1979. He worked at a food processing company, as a forklift operator and then went into management there.
He had many loved nieces and nephews as well as extended family in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Arlington, Georgia.
He has one remaining sibling, Van Vanosdoll (Christina) of Winthrop, Washington.
In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren: Steven, Heather Anne, Austin and Alyssa, that he loved very much.
Scott loved and played all sports especially: football, baseball, street hockey and roller blade hockey. He loved Nascar, fishing, rescuing animals and basically being the life of the party. You will be missed by many, “Scube”.
