David Epps, Jr., was born on January 5, 1955, in Blakely, Georgia, to Mr. David Epps, Sr. and Mrs. Maggie Lue Epps.
He departed this earthly life on June 5, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida.
At an early age, David accepted CHRIST as his SAVIOR and became a member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Jakin, Georgia. He received his education in public schools of Early County. After graduation in 1973, he enlisted into the the United States Army.
Along with his parents, his two siblings Particia Ann Epps and Annie Ruth Epps preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Verene Lee Epps; three sons: Calvin Jackson of Ft. Worth, TX, Arthur Jackson (Andrea) of Grand Prairie, TX, and Marty Jackson (Erica) of Palm Coast, FL; a very special grandson, Andre Jackson (Calie) of Fairbanks, AK; one brother, Carl Epps of West Palm Beach, FL; two sisters, Melanie Epps of West Palm Beach, FL, and Adrienne Epps of Blakely, GA; nephews and nieces: Kerlon Epps, Shecura Jiste, both of West Palm Beach, FL, Kolleen Pollard of Tallahassee, FL, and Arthur Sparrow Jr. of Blakely; two great nephews, Kayden Bynes and Alexander Byrd, Jr.; uncle, Charles Epps of Indianapolis, IN; aunts: Emma Gilbert, Evera Mells, Beatrice Epps, Trudie Ceasar, all of Blakely, Louise Collins of Mableton, GA, Edith Epps, and Betty Collins, both of Hollandale, FL; his fur-baby Remy; and a host of relatives and friends.
