David L. James

David L. James was born on December 30, 1972, to Marvin Thompson and Annette Ceasar. He joined Saint Mathis Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.

David departed his earthly life on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in Donalsonville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his daughter, father, brother, grandmother, stepdaughter and grandson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Willie Mae James of Blakely, Georgia; five daughters: Tandra James of Blakely, Breanna James of Leesburg, Florida, Belinda Gilbert of Albany, Georgia, Laura Smith, and Shanika Brown, both of Blakely; six sons: Larry Brown, Ted Brown, Antonio Dale, Michael Brown, Kevin Brown, and Teddy Brown, all of Blakely; twenty-three grandchildren; one sister, Courtney Thomas of Phenix City, Alabama; two brothers, Marvin James (Priscilla) and Jonathoe Thornton, both of Blakely; three aunts; two uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
