Dontavis Corneluis Eaford

Dontavis Corneluis Eaford was born May 1, 1996, in Blakely, Georgia, to Reverend Don Eaford and Jennifer Eaford. Dontavis transitioned from this earthly life to his new life on Saturday, May 26, 2018.

Dontavis’ life was full of pure love and unlimited joy. He graduated from Early County High School in 2015. Although he had challenge after challenge, he persevered and graduated Bainbridge College with a Certificate in Mobile Electronics on May 10, 2018.

Dontavis was a friend to many. He was freehearted and ever so helpful, always willing to lend a hand.

Preceded in death by his grandparents Geraldine Johnson and John L. Grace, Dontavis leaves to mourn his parents, Jennifer Eaford and Reverend Don Eaford Sr. (Sharon), both of Blakely, GA; grandmother, Mattie Wade of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Ebony Johnson and Tiesha Eaford, both of Blakely; two brothers, Larry Johnson and Don Eaford Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; two nephews, Jeremiah Johnson and A’Keem Tolbert; four aunts: Elvira Barber of Blakely, Louise Moore (Demont), Christine Foster (Eric), both of Fayetteville, and Faye Doering, stationed in U.S. Army; three uncles: Leroy Wade of Fayetteville, Tony Eaford (Sonia), and Robert Wade (Lesley), both of Florida; a great aunt whom he dearly loved, Della M. Johnson of Blakely; a special cousin, Kimbrea Sparks; a very special friend and her daughter, Shakeria Grace and Zykeria Grace, both of Blakely; close friends: Arthur Tolbert, Ellis Pankston, and Kentazious Stamper; and a host of other cousins and friends.
