A TIME TO BE BORN…EDDIE INGRAM SR., 59, was born in Blakely, Georgia, on July 9, 1961. His parents were Mattie Ingram and Willie Edd Ingram.
A TIME TO PLANT...He received his education in the Early County Public School System, graduating Early County High School in 1979. Eddie then moved to Hempstead, New York, and became an amateur boxer.
A TIME TO LAUGH…His beautiful smile and high energy personality lit the atmosphere up everywhere he traveled. His favorite phrases included the following: “YESSSS SIR”, “DON’T TOUCH THE LIGHTS”, “WHAT’S WRONG…WHAT’S RIGHT YOU KEEP CALLING ME”.
A TIME TO MOURN…Eddie was preceded in death by his wife(Dorothy) and his mother (Mattie Louise).
A TIME TO REST…His final call to Glory was received on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, with his beloved sister (Mattie Lou) in Austell, Georgia.
A TIME TO LOVE…He is survived by his three sons: Eddie Jr. of Georgia, MarKeith of Virginia, and Damian (Jessica) of Florida; grandson, Damian Jamal Shorter; granddaughter, Legend Ingram; five sisters: Johnnie Pearl Sanders, Mattie Lou Sol (Ronnie), Angel Ingram, Christina Ingram and Angela Monore; and five brothers: Milton Igles (Gail), Walter Ed Ingram, Calvin Ingram (the late Angela), John Ingram (Lisa), and Teddy Ingram.
A TIME OF LIFE…Eddie lived a life and made a legacy by way of his generous heart and caring spirit. In life, we loved him dearly; in death, we still love him dearly. In our hearts he holds a place no one else will ever fill.
