Edward Michael Lorenz, Sr.

Edward M. Lorenz Sr., 81, died November 23, 2020, at home.  He was born September 11, 1939, in Tawas City, Michigan, the son of Edward and Sophie Lorenz.

Edward graduated Tawas High School in the Class of 1957.  Following graduation he served in the United States Army.

He married Inez L. Lorenz in 1960 who predeceased him.

In addition to his wife and parents, Edward was predeceased by four sisters, one brother, one stepdaughter and three stepsons.

He is survived by his two sons Edward M. Lorenz, Jr. and wife Sherry M. of Blakely, Georgia, and Terry J. Lorenz and wife Wendy of Hull, Georgia; stepdaughter Cindy Thacher of Hull, Georgia; grandkids; great grandkids; his dog Lucy; two sisters Pat Smith and Sue Ritchie; and brother Larry (Tuff) Lorenz.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
