Elie Williams

Elie Williams Sr, 88, of Blakely GA died Sunday October 9, 2016 at Pioneer Community Hospital.

Mr. Williams was born July 14, 1928 in Gadsden County, Florida to the late John and Donnie Williams.

He was preceded in death by his eight siblings, including his twin brother Magnus Williams, and three children.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Ellen Virginia Williams; sons: Roosevelt Williams (Myra), Elie Williams, Jr., Gary Williams, Jeffrey Williams (Tiger), Geoffrey Williams, Andre Williams, Corey Williams (Shannon), and Dwain Williams; daughters: Jerry Ledbetter, Janice Hill (Jeffrey), Samantha Peacock (Danny), Brenda Williams, Katherine Williams, Shelley Williams, Lisa Williams, Carolyn Williams, Kimberly Williams, and Sharon Richardson; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service was Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11 am at Union Church with Rev. Dr. John H. Davis officiating. Interment followed in the Union Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers were Charodd Richardson, Elie Williams, Jr., Charord Richardson, Gary Williams, Corey Williams and Roosevelt Williams.

Community Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
