Elisa Shonita Roberts-Thompkins

Mrs. Elisa Shontia Roberts-Thompkins was born on February 12, 1980 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She was the beloved daughter of James "Walter" Roberts, Sr. and Florrie B. Roberts. 

Lisa, as she was affectionately known by her friends, was a graduate of Miami Jackson Sr. High School. She later met and married her love, Jackie "Dino" Thompkins. Together they raised 4 beautiful children, Jasmine, Taylor, Jayden and Tiana. Lisa was also blessed with another son, Walter.

Lisa worked as a correctional officer at Dade County Jails and later  moved to Georgia, where she worked in home health care for Shirley's Sitting Services.

Mrs. Elisa Shonita Roberts-Thompkins leaves to cherish her precious memories: husband - Jackie "Dino" Thompkins, her sons: Jayden and Walter Thompkins; her daughters: Jasmine Scott, Taylor and Tiana Thompkins; parents: James Walter (Sr.) and Diane Roberts; brothers: James Walter (Jr.), James Tyrone, Sr., Chief Michael A. Roberts, Sr. (Sharnee), Thomas Davis, Sr. (Nochelle); sisters: Samaria Roberts-Washington (Tony), Tammica, Melanie and Angela Bostic, Jameshia and Jankeria Roberts; a grandmother who loved her dearly, Flossie Jones, mother-in-law, Sharon Thompkins and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends, all whom loved and will miss her dearly.

To Joy Stewart, thank you for being a loyal friend to Elisa for over 25 years.
