Eugene "Buddy" Barley

Eugene Barley Jr. was born on May 13, 1952, to the late William Eugene “Bud” Barley and the late Edith Bailey-Barley.  He was a native of Blakely, Georgia.

“Buddy” lived in Miami, Florida.  He married the late Vanessa Barley; they had two children, Charles and Donna Barley.  He returned to Blakely, where he resided with Rene Bennett (his caregiver) until his death on Friday, February 10, 2023.

Preceding him in death were siblings Willie James Barley and J. B. Barley. His surviving siblings are Rochester Barley, Andrew James Barley, Larry Barley (Renee), all of Miami, Florida, Terry Barley (Angel) of Bradenton, Florida, Willie Pearl Sanders of Headland, Alabama, Mary C. Barley, Annie Ruth Barley, both of Miami, FL, and Laura Barley Troupe (Willie) of Blakely, Georgia.
