Harold Causey, Jr., 60, of Blakely, Georgia, passed away on January 15, 2025. Born on July 29, 1964, he was the son of the late Patricia Ann Williams Martin and the late Harold Causey, Sr.
Harold is survived by his children, Madyson Lewis (Joshua) and Caleb Causey (Emma), a nephew whom he helped raise, Freddie Allen, and the mother of his children, Nina Causey. He also leaves behind many adoptive children whom he mentored and raised as his own, many nieces and nephews , along with several siblings.
He is proceeded in death by his parents and a brother Farron Weaver.
Harold had a deep love for old country music, especially the songs of Red Sovine, and would often play his favorite cassette tapes on repeat. A lifelong truck driver, Harold spent many years on the road, making lasting friendships along the way.
A service to honor Harold’s memory will Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Centerville United Methodist Church, Blakely, Georgia, with Brother Benjamin Kegler, a dear friend of Harold’s, presiding over the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made toward the funeral costs at Community Funeral Home.
Harold’s legacy of love, mentorship, and service to others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
