Helen Jean Reddick was welcomed into the world on September 3, 1947, in Blakely, Georgia, by her parents, Leon and Azzie Lee Reddick. On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Helen accepted her wings and entered Heaven.
She professed her life to GOD at an early age and joined Saint John Freewill Baptist Church. Helen attended Washington High School in Blakely.
Helen was a devoted mother and homemaker who loved to cook, dance and laugh. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family, especially during the holidays. She was always the life of the party.
Early in life, she married J. T. Williams and birthed three children during this union. She later became devoted to Henry Russell, birthing four children in this union.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Roosevelt Reddick, sister Mary Wright, and grandson Derronte Williams.
She leaves to cherish loving memories her seven children: Daron Williams, Catrina Garnett (Ervin), Sabrina Williams, Henry Russell Jr., Felicia Wofford (Obak), Cametria Russell, and Antione Russell; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Martha Stamper; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
