Huel Jonathan Gandy

Huel Jonathan Gandy was born July 21, 1939 in Davie, Florida and passed on April 29, 2017, at 7:52 A.M.  He was 77 years old.  He lived most of his life in Florida but moved to Columbia, Alabama in 2014, where he passed away at his home.

Huel was preceded in death by his father, Huel Clay Gandy, his mother, Evelyn Catherine Gandy Utczie, his sisters, Joyce Gandy Pollock and Carolyn Lee Tidwell, and his brother, Ernest Ronald Gandy; all of whom resided in Florida.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Barkwell of Columbia, Alabama; his daughters:  Tammy Gandy Miller of Dothan, Alabama, Cassandra Rae Evans of Columbia, Alabama, and Monica Jo Martinez of Palatka, Florida; his sister, Faye Mercer of Williston, Florida; his sister-in-law, Ann Gandy of Ocala, Florida; and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.  He will be greatly missed and loved by all.
