A TIME TO BE BORN: HUGH L. REED was born on March 17, 1949, in Blakely, Georgia. His parents were the late Huey Reed and Ophelia C. Reed.
A TIME TO LEARN: Hugh received his education through the Early County School System, where he attended Washington High School.
A TIME TO WORK: Hugh L. worked at Early County Road Department as a Motor Grader Operator, as well as other jobs.
A TIME TO BE BLESSE: Hugh was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Cleveland Sanders until God called him Home.
A TIME TO SAY FAREWELL: On Friday, March 30, 2018, Hugh L. Reed was called home to his eternal rest. He finished his assignment here on earth when god came to pick his beautiful flower from the garden.
A TIME TO MOURN: Hugh L. Reed touched so many lives. His friendly face and positive attitude will stay with everyone who knew him. His passing has left a dark hole in many hearts, but his memories will always be cherished by his wife Beverly Ann Reed; his children : Steven Baxter, Anthony Reed, Donald Reed, Denise Sealy, LeCetra Reed, and Crystal Reed, his ten grandchildren; his four great grandchildren; his sisters: Jessie Reed and Pauline Reed; his brothers: Bobby Reed and William Reed (Willie Mae); his sister-in-law Olivia Reed, his god sister Mattie Williams; his god daughter Tina Powell; his best friend Jack Ceasar, his face time friend Mikhailio; and his nieces, nephews, cousins and additional friends.
