Ida Lee Franklin was born May 2, 1937, in Crenshaw County, Alabama, to the late Murray C. Ware. She attended and graduated Helicon High School in Grady, Alabama.
After graduation, she moved to Blakely, Georgia. Here, she joined Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
Ida Lee departed her earthly life and was welcomed Home on Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Ralph Foster and Jonathan Foster.
Cherishing her memories in mourning are two sisters, Jackie Christian (Willie James) and Debra Cranfield (Stanley); one great aunt, Martha Franklin; one sister-in-law, Christine Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
