J. T. Williams

J. T. Williams created happiness on June 4, 1945, in Blakely, Georgia, for his parents King Williams and Dorothy Williams.  On August 5, 2020, J. T. entered Heaven and became an angel.

J. T. gave his life to CHRIST at a young age.  He later moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he was an active member in First Corinth Baptist Church, serving on the Deacon Board.  He was a devoted and dedicated worker at Toby Sexton Tire Company for over twenty years, retiring in 2014.

J. T. was a very loving, kind and a dedicated grandfather.  He was well known in the community, because he devoted his time unconditionally.  J. T. was always the life of the party; and in each room he entered, everyone always smiled, because he always had a joke to tell.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Ms. Helen Reddick; and during this union, they had three beautiful children.  He later devoted his life to Ms. Dorothy Williams; and during their union, they had one beautiful child.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers King Williams Jr., J W Williams, Raymond Williams, Oscar Williams, Alvin Williams, Layess Williams, Sherman Williams, Charles Williams and Murray Williams; sisters Alice Williams, Anne Johnson, Inez Salter and Nella Salter; daughter Keisha Williams; and grandson Derronte Williams.

He leaves to cherish his brothers, Jim Williams (Azzie) and Earl Williams; children:  Daron Williams, Catrina Garnett (Ervin) and Sabrina Williams; grandchildren:  Kendravus Brown, Darlinda Guishard, Jamesia Vance, Tyonna Brown, Keshunna Williams, Keshod Williams and Miracle Williams; great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
