James Anthony Shellhouse, Jr.

Mr. James Anthony Shellhouse, Jr., was born November 21, 1972 in Dothan, Alabama to James Anthony Shellhouse, Sr., and Oma Jean Clark Shellhouse.

Anthony passed away on April 13, 2023 in a Dothan hospital after a long battle with COPD.

At a very young age, Anthony began working in the woods as a logger. He could operate the loader, skidder and cutter and was very good on either one of them.

Anthony always believed in and loved Jehovah God.

He was preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Oma Jean Shellhouse.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children: James Anthony Shellhouse III, Blake Shellhouse, Tonya Shellhouse, Jordan Shellhouse, Damien Shellhouse Harris and Jaylen Kage Shellhouse; brothers and sisters: Donnie Kelly (Maxine), Darrin Shellhouse (Diane), Tonya Shellhouse Smith, David Shellhouse and Jessica Shellhouse; six grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
