Jerry Norris Daniels Sr. was born August 21, 1955, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Curtis and Beola Daniels. He passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, October 1, 2021.
At an early age, Jerry joined Good Hope African Methodist Episcopal Church and later became a member of Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church, where he served faithfully until his health failed. He graduated from Early County High School in 1973 and later served in the United States Army. After leaving the Army, he became employed at Georgia Pacific in Cedar Springs, Georgia, retiring after more than 36 years of being employed.
He was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Laytoya Daniels and his brothers, Lawrence Daniels (Donna), Harold Daniels, and Jonathan Daniels.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Alease Daniels; children: Corey Daniels, Jerlisa Daniels and Jerry Daniels, Jr. (Wanda); grandchildren Jadin Daniels, Corey Daniels, Jr., Kayden Daniels and Jaylen Johnson; special niece, Karla Daniels; cousins: Henry Clemons, Dennis Clemons and Cheryl George; a special caregiver, Erica Lusane; and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
