Jimmie William Wright

Jimmie William Wright was born on June 1, 1963, in Blakely, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Otis Wright Sr. and Choicie Mae McCoy-Wright.

He departed his earthly life on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by three siblings:  Esther Jean Brown, Lionel Lewis Wright, and Ricky Lee Wright.

Jimmie is survived by one son, Dontrell Deion Sol; two grandchildren, Da’Kenzee Sol and King Zion Sol; five brothers: Otis Wright Sr., Eddie Wright, Frankie Wright, Michael Wright (Yolanda), and Kelvin Wright (Tasha); two sisters, Janice Barber and Lisa Cull; two uncles, Eddie Walter McCoy Jr. and Harvey McCoy (Dorothy); five aunts: Clara Edwards, Maelene Alexander, Eddie Mae Smith (Dennis), Louise Lewis (Eddie), and Barbara Douglas (Randolph); a special nephew, Ronald King; a special niece, Sheryl Hall (Jessie); four additional nephews; nine additional nieces; and a host of great nephews, great nieces, cousins and friends.
