Juanita Jones Hooks was born March 26, 1940, in Milford, Georgia. Her parents were Corene McDonald and Bennie Lee Jones.
She accepted CHRIST as her LORD And SAVIOR at an early age. She was a member of Saint Paul Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Blakely, Georgia.
Juanita met and married Cleotis Hooks, Jr. The two were together for sixty-three years before his demise.
Juanita departed her earthly life on Monday, August 23, 2021, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, parents and three sisters.
She leaves to cherish two children, Johnny Hooks of Albany, Georgia, and Sandra Martin of Blakely, Georgia; twelve grands; fourteen great grands; three sisters; two brothers; a god granddaughter, LaKeshia Ceasar; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
