L. C. Alexander Jr.

L. C. Alexander Jr. was born November 26, 1953, to the late Annie and L. C. Alexander Sr.  He was the fourth oldest of ten siblings.  L. C. graduated from Speight High School in Fort Gaines, Georgia (Clay County).  His chosen profession was carpentry, and work was his friend.

At a young age, L. C. developed a strong faith in GOD.  It was his faith that sustained him until the end on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

During his journey in life, L. C. became the father of two biological daughters.  Although he shared a laugh or two with friends, he was a family-first man.

Memories of L. C. “June” Alexander Jr. will be cherished by his loving wife, Sara Alexander of Blakely, GA; his two biological kids; his extended family–three daughters Dermetria Bush, Errica Harris and Brittany Reynolds (Melvin), all of Blakely, and two sons Zachary Harris of Blakely and L. C. Alexander III of Arlington, GA; six siblings: Chester Alexander (Alice) of Cuthbert, GA, Joyce Alexander, Samuel Alexander, both of Blakely, Floree Mitchell of Fort Valley, GA, Willie Alexander of Denver, CO, and Barbara Thornton of Leesburg, FL; his best friend, William Peterson; and a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins and  friends.

L. C. was preceded in death by five siblings: Eddie Alexander, Walter Alexander, Larry Alexander, Ruby Stevens, and Joyce McCallum.
