Lizzie Lambert Obituary

LIZZIE MAE LAMBERT was born on December 16, 1927, to Archie Lowe and Clara Mae Price. She received CHRIST as her Personal LORD AND SAVIOR at an early age and was a faithful member of Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church until her health prevented her from attending.

Lizzie was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Romadell Lambert. To their union were born two children: Daisy (Morris) Logan of Jacksonville, Florida, and Cradell (Harold) Davis of Blakley, Georgia.

Lizzie endured many hardships during her lifetime, yet she held fast to her faith through it all. From hard labor on a chicken farm to a food service worker at Early County Elementary School to the loss of four of her children, GOD kept her, and she never gave up. When you got to know her, she’d "worm" her way into your heart with her loving spirit and warm smile. Lizzie was a strong-spirited woman who enjoyed having her family close and spending time with them.

Lizzie departed her earthly life on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Pioneer Nursing Home in Blakley, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-grandfather Frank Price; her grandmother Lizzie Price; her three sons Frank, William and David Hardrick; and her daughter Cradell Davis.

In addition to her daughter Daisy, Lizzie also leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Rosalee Houston of Damascus, GA; fifteen grandchildren: Gabrielle Davis, Brian Davis, Jalen Davis, Timothy (Dewanda) Hardrick, Frank (Theia) Hardrick, Stephanie Hanks, Cotina Mack, all of Blakley, GA, Kyle Davis of Montgomery, AL, Tomeka Hardrick of Fort Pierce, FL, Deanna Jones of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Thalia (Wilmer) Summerset-Milton, Terrell Summerset, T’Keyah Logan, Trevante Logan, all of Jacksonville, FL, and Tanesha (Richard) Summerset Payne of San Antonio, TX; twenty-five great grands; one nephew, Charles Houston of Damascus, GA; one niece, Rosie Houston of Damascus, GA; and a host of other family members and close friends.
