Lonnie Mae Beacham was born September 24, 1927, to the late Mr. John D. Thomas and the late Mrs. Carrie Bell Thomas in Louisville, Alabama. She departed her earthly life on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at her home surrounded by family and friends.
Sister Beacham confessed her life to CHRIST at an early age and joined Macedonia Baptist Church. Later in life, she became a member of Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she remained a faithful member until GOD called her Home.
Lonnie Mae was married to the late Mr. Herman Beacham. During their union nine children were born; two of whom, Annie Maude Alexander and Jerome Beacham, preceded her in death.
Lonnie Mae Beacham was an amazing mother, not just to her children and grandchildren but to all with whom she came in contact. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted children: L. C. Beacham (Jeanette), Clifford Beacham, Geraldine Beacham, all of Blakely, GA, Benjamin Beacham of Bluffton, GA, Carolyn Brown (Andrew) of Covington, GA, Christine Proctor (Chris) of Woodstock, GA, and Dorothy Hudley of Dothan, AL; a special son-in-law, George L. Hudley of Blakely, GA; and one sister, Mary Alice Davis of Elgin, SC. She also leaves thirty grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
