Brother Mark Lyles Jr., affectionately known as “Buck”, was born December 8, 1938. His parents were the late Mr. Mark Lyles Sr. and Mrs. Sylvia Lyles.
He was a very faithful farmer until his retirement.
Brother Mark departed his earthly life on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. He was predeceased by his three children Linda Lyles, Johnny Grace and Eloise Grace; and his nine sisters Jessie Mae Booker, Lessie Mae Petterman, Dorothy Jean Lyles, Nancy Lee, Mattie C. Chambers, Rose Troupe, Helen Dooliepen, Minnie Mae Lyles, and Willie Fred Lyles.
He leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his legacy his loving wife whom he cherished very much, Annie W. Lyles; nine loving children: Beatrice Drinkard (Richard), Martha Early (Anthony), Sylvia Lyles (Earl), Mark Lyles (Laashonda), Shuquinta Butler, McAuthor Lyles, Robert Lyles, Ray Lyles (Herley), and Mary Lee Massey; nine loving stepchildren: Floree, Ruby Nell, Joyce, Samuel, Walter, Chester, Larry, Willie, and L.C.; twenty-six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; his loving sisters: Dora Hudley, Nadine Sol, Mable Shaw, and Martha Pernell; a very special nephew, George “Bally” Hudley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends whom he loved dearly.
