Martavis Lushawn McKinnie

Isaiah 41:10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,

for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Martavis Lushawn McKinnie was born on January 21, 1997, in Albany, Georgia, to the union of Larry Foster and Evonne McKinnie. He was from Blakely, Georgia, and resided in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with his siblings over the years.

Martavis graduated from South Plantation High School in 2016.

He accepted CHRIST in 2024 and was baptized at Kingdom of God Empowerment Center in Columbus, Georgia.

Martavis departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles McKinnie.

He leaves to cherish his memory his seven-year old daughter, Ava Marie McKinnie; his father, Larry Foster; his mother, Evonne McKinnie; his stepfather, Mario Thomas; his four siblings: Dexter Lucollar Summerset, Jr., RenaldaMcKinnie, Yvonne McKinnie, and Lexis McKinnie; grandmother, Flossie McKinnie; his aunts: Casandra Robinson, Angela McKinnie, Tammy McKinnie, Angie Foster, and Michele Foster; his uncles: Terry McKinnie, Corey McKinnie, Larry McKinnie, and Pete McKinnie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, and friends.
