Mary Louise Price

Mary was born May 19, 1957, in Blakely, Georgia, to the late Donnell and Bobbie Lee Price. 

She attended Early County High School and obtained a nursing degree from Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama.  She was employed at Christian City Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Union City, Georgia, until her illness.

She accepted Christ at an early age.  Mary was a member of Saint Maryland Missionary Baptist Church before relocating to the Atlanta area in 2003.  

Affectionately known as “Honey Bear”, she will be remembered for her jovial entertainment and pearls of wisdom she had for everyone.  Her love for her children, “my boys” as she would say, could not be measured and was expressed abundantly through her grandchildren.

Mary departed her earthly life on January 12, 2021, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. 

She was preceded by in death by her grandson Christopher Price (son of Darrell) and her brother Ralph Price.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Darrell Price; grandchildren: Terrance Williams, Oliviero Lopes, Towanna Richardson, Jerome Lopes, Mia Price, Jamya Price, Joao Vieira, Darrell Price Jr. and Darrell Price III; and a great grandchild, Aiden Richardson; son, Derrick Price (Mimi) and granddaughter, Derica Price; son, Brandon Price (Natalie) and grandchildren: Brandon Jacob Price, Londyn Price, Lauryn Price and Brandon Price Jr.; sisters: Faye Price, Carolyn Price, Deborah George (Bernard), Rita James (Edwin), Aretha Tinson (Fred), Rebecca Henderson (Rex), Jeanette Comfort and Carolyn Thompson; brothers: Johnell Price (Dana), Kenneth Price (Kim), William Price (Valerie) and Larry Price; many nieces and nephews, some of whom she cared for as her own–Brittany, Erika, Andrea and Amya; aunts; uncles; cousins; and a host of great friends and coworkers.
