Brother Michael Anthony Bailey was born on January 12, 1968, in Blakely, Georgia. He was the son of Anna Bell Bailey and Enouch Earl Bailey.
He was a 1986 graduate of Early County High School in Blakely. Michael then furthered his education at South Georgia Technical College in Americus, Georgia, where he earned his Welder Technology/Blueprint Certification in 1987.
Michael accepted CHRIST at an early age and was a member of Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church, where he served on the Usher Board beginning in his early teens. He was a faithful, humble, and hard-working servant who walked closely with GOD.
Michael was a welder for 35 years. He was an avid football fan of Florida State University and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were some of his favorite pastimes, as well as riding his motorcycle.
On Friday, June 17, 2022, he went Home to our HEAVENLY FATHER. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jessie James Bailey, and sister Patricia Ann Smith.
He leaves a legacy of memories to be cherished by his loving son Michael Dontel Bailey (Denise) of Fort Sill, Oklahoma; grandchildren Ashanti Nicole Hallmon and Malachi Ahmad Lema; siblings Enouch Bailey Jr. (Tamara) of New Brighton, Pennsylvania, Fletcher Bailey, Petronia Mike, Annie Joyce Shelton, all of Blakely, Georgia, Elizabeth Ford (Kenneth) of Jakin, Georgia, Preston Earl Bailey (Rose) of Gainesville, Florida, Selvie Bailey (Sharon) of Alachua, Florida, Lucy Bailey of Lacey Washington, and Gregory Bailey (Sadie) of Tallahassee, Florida; brother-in-law Wiley Smith of Blakely, Georgia; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
