Patricia Smith Obituary

Sister Patricia Smith was born February 1, 1950 in Hilton, Georgia to Anna Bell Bailey and Enouch Earl Bailey.  

She acquired her education at Washington High School in Early County.  She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, where she served on the Usher Board.  Patricia was a humble and faithful servant until her passing.

Mrs. Patricia was a seamstress for over 25 years and retired from Perdue Farms in Dothan, Alabama.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Wiley Zelotis Smith on July 26, 1974.  They were shy of being married 47 years at her passing.

On Sunday, July 11, 2021, she returned to her HEAVENLY FATHER.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, infant son, brother, Jessie James Bailey and great grandson, Jessiah Stewart.

She leaves a legacy of memories to be cherished by her devoted and loving husband Wiley Smith of Blakely, Georgia; children Sedrick Smith of Texas, Sandrea Williams (Deon) of Americus, Georgia, Tammy Young of Donalsonville, Georgia, and Kaneesha Lucas of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren Private Sirrell Reese of United States Army (Fort Gordon, Georgia), Caimen Williams, Aiden Williams, both of Americus, Georgia, Tyissha Stewart, Ra’Darika Young, both of Donalsonville, Georgia, and Azyriah Johnson of  Orlando, Florida; great grandchildren Rah’kel Stewart, Aubree Sol, Audree Sol and Anya Benton, all of Donalsonville, Georgia; siblings Enouch Bailey Jr. (Tamara) of New Brighton, Pennsylvania, Fletcher Bailey, Petronia Bailey, Annie Joyce Shelton, all of Blakely, Georgia, Elizabeth Ford (Kenneth) of Jakin, Georgia, Preston Earl Bailey (Rose) of Gainesville, Florida, Selvie Bailey (Sharon) of Alachua, Florida, Lucy Bailey of Lacey, Washington, Michael Bailey of Blakely, Georgia, and Gregory Bailey of Tallahassee, Florida; in-laws Charles Smith of Dothan, Alabama, Doris Swinton (Willie J.), Phillip Smith, Dyette Smith, all of Cocoa, Florida, Matilda Porter (Aron) and Rev. Dr. Tommy Smith (Brenda), both of Chesapeake, Virginia; a devoted friend Johnnie Mae "Ladybug" Bush of Blakely, Georgia; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
