Mr. Paul Allen died peacefully at JMS Burn Center on January 26, 2018 in Augusta GA at the age of 80. Paul was born to the late Joe 'Bear" Allen and Susan Crawford on February 21, 1937 in Clay County. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in hard-work supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Throughout his lifetime Paul enjoyed a life of gardening, fishing, and farming. At the age of 14 he was a devoted farm technician at White Farms and worked there for over 60 years. In November of 1955 Paul married Jeanette Foster from this union 7 children were born.
Paul was blessed with a large and loving family and leaves behind 20 children: Alice Gilbert, Joe Allen (Martha), Roosevelt Walker, Curtis Allen, Joe Nate Allen (Gayle), Freddie Allen, Willie M "Cletus" Allen, Sandra Allen (Tony), Willie P. Allen (Latisha), Damien Allen (Matissa), Demetrice Lee (La'Quevia), Lakeisha Lingo (Anthony), Lashonon Price (Brian), Eldrick Allen,Kenny Allen (Minnie), Debbie Reed, Erica hicks, Jennifer Allen, Jewanta Allen (William), and Geraldine Lee,and a host of beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many he raised as his own.
He is preceded in death by eight siblings and five sons: John Ralph Allen, Paul "Randy" Allen, Fletcher Allen, Willie Albert Allen, and Tony Allen. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.
