Robert Hudley

A Time to Be Born: Robert Hudley was born August 12, 1957, in Blakely, Georgia.  He was the offspring of Mr. Bennie and Mrs. Dora Lee Hudley.

A Time to Live: Robert attended the schools of Early County, graduating Early County High School in the Class of 1976.  He served twenty years active duty in the United States Army.  Robert resided in Blakely.  He was an active member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church until his health failed.

A Time to Leave:  Early Tuesday Morning, October 13, 2020, Robert was called Home.  He slipped away quietly from us in the comfort of his home surrounded by family members.  He was preceded in death by his father Bennie Hudley, brother Bennie Joe Hudley and sister Gwendolyn Hudley. 

A Time to Mourn:  Robert leaves to cherish his memories his three children: daughter Shintrelle Reynolds (Immanuel) of Copperas Cove, TX, son Anthony Hudley of Saint Louis, MO, and daughter Zy’Ronica Lindsey of Blakely, GA; grandchildren Chantanaye Hudley and Xavier Reynolds, both of Copperas Cove, TX; his sweet loving mother Dora Lee Hudley; loyal brother George L. Hudley; sisters Jennette Grace, Annie Bell Williams (Eddie Ralph) and Maelean Cook (Eddie); all of Blakely; sisters Linda Owens and Flora Owens; brothers Thomas Owens and Garry Owens; all of Hollywood, FL; aunts Nadine Wiggins of Blakely, Maple Shaw of Edison, GA, and Martha Pernelle of Hollywood, FL; uncle Mark Lyles Jr. of Blakely; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
