Robert Lee Reed, Sr.

Robert was born December 26, 1949, to Leroy Reed and Mattie Fisher.  In this marriage, nine children were born.

Robert was very energetic and loved to tell jokes to make people laugh.  He enjoyed dancing and being with his family and friends.  Robert was a hard worker and a dedicated employee at Macy's for over twenty years.  He later retired due to illness and moved to Atlanta, Georgia.

On April 27, 2020, GOD picked another one of HIS precious flowers to join HIM in HIS Heavenly Garden.  Robert will tuly be missed by his "Pea in the Pod", Martha Reed.  He was preceded in death by his father, mother, paternal grandmother Josephine Hudley, maternal grandmother Lula Warren, and the love of his life, his wife Dorothy Smith Reed.

He leaves to cherish his memories a son, Robert Lee Reed, Jr. (Fredericka); a daughter, Kimmie Reed Graham; five grandsons:  DeVante' O. Graham, Robert J. Reed, Q'Derius D. Reed, Cortez J. Reed, and Jalen D. Reed; two granddaughters, Samone Little and Tyonna Reed; four great grandchildren:  Sa'Myah Little, Ar'Mani Little, Ja'siah Reed, and Ty'liah B. Smith; five brothers:  Herman "Bubba" Reed, Charles Reed, Roy Reed, all of Hallandale Beach, FL, Gene Reed (Mary) of Decatur, GA, and Johne Reed of Jersey City, NJ; three sisters:  Martha Reed of Atlanta, GA, Florrie Sapp of Aiken, SC, and Hattie Perkins of Blakely, GA; a special friend, May Mack; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other friends.
