Samantha McGee

Mrs. Samantha Diane McGee was born on December 15, 1969 to the late Lena Mae Brown of Jakin, Georgia and Willie B. Fudge Sr. of Donalsonville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother Lena, her brother Lewis, her sister Jacqueline, and her granddaughter Destiny.

Samantha was educated in the Early County School System. She moved to Houston, Texas, where she met her husband Dan McGee; they married on April 9, 1989. The two returned to Georgia and had four beautiful children.

At an early age, Samantha confessed CHRIST as her SAVIOR. Eventually she became a member of Emmanuel Temple Church in Dothan, Alabama.

Samantha had been a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. She worked with Noland Hospital of Dothan.

On June 25, 2017, Samantha departed her earthly life. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Dan McGee; four wonderful children: Dannard Brown, Darien McGee (Ashanti), Mechelle McGee (Shawn), and Danielle McGee; two grandchildren, Shawn Katavion Carthon and Damien "D.J." Brown; sister, Sharon Hilliard of Jakin, Georgia; aunts, Ethel Deason (Emmanuel) of Houston, Texas and Hazel Moore of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close and far friends.
