Samuel C Anderson

Samuel Cleve “S.C.” Anderson Sr. of Blakely, Ga., died November 2, 2016, at Flowers hospital in Dothan Al.

Mr. Anderson was born October 13, 1945 to Lizzie Mae Anderson and the late John Henry Anderson. He was drafted in the United States Army and served two Years. He retired from Georgia Pacific after working over 30 plus years. He was also a member Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a devoted wife, Mary Helen Anderson; two sons Samuel Anderson Jr.(Debra) of Jacksonville, Florida and Dexter Anderson (Sonola) of Fairburn, Georgia; two grandchildren, JLyn Garrett and Keshia Smith; one great grandchild, Peyton Smith; A loving Mother Lizzie Mae Anderson of Blakely Georgia; two sisters, Betty Kegler of Blakely, Georgia and Virginia Davis of Fort Gaines, Georgia; one brother, Horace Anderson of Blakely, Georgia; three sisters-n-law: Juanita Washington of Blakely, Georgia, Laura Lee(Paul) of Montgomery, AL, and Janice Stovall(Larry) of Dothan Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service was Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at 12 P.M. at Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Cleveland Sanders officiating. Interment followed in the Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  

Active Pall bearers were Scottie Harris, Adonis Pittman, William Price, Victor Robinson, Billy Ross, Donnell Williams, Eric Williams, Tracy Williams and Willie Wimberly.
