Thomas James Igles, Sr.

GOD called Mr. Thomas James Igles Sr. Home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.  He was born January 8, 1952, in Blakely, Georgia, to the late Mr. Elton Igles Sr. and Mrs. Vera Igles.  

He received CHRIST at an early age.  Mr. Igles served faithfully at Saint Mathis Missionary Baptist Church in Blakely, Georgia, until he moved to Tallahassee, Florida, to be a Brick Mason.

He was joined into Holy Matrimony to Martha Cliffraft Igles, who preceded him in death.  He was predeceased by one child, Thomas Kierre Igles; four sisters: Minnie Lee Igles James, Mattie Louis Igles Ingram, Marie Wimberly, and Carrie B. Igles; and three brothers: Elton Igles Jr., Robert Lee Igles, and Johnny B. Igles.  

He leaves to cherish three children: Katherine Nalls, Ebony Igles, and Thomas James Igles Jr., all of Tallahassee, FL; thirteen grandchildren:  Ayiana Harris, Kemyra Smith, Kierrah Hinson, Ma’Ciyah Igles, Kanyla Williams, Zakari Williams, Thomas Igles, Jaquan Igles, Elijah Igles, Maliki Igles, all of Tallahassee, FL, Michael Christopher Nalls, Jamila Nalls, and Shantigra Williams, all of St. Lucia, FL; three sisters: Betty Nixon of Tallahassee, FL, Ruby Lee Igles of Arlington, GA, and Lucinda Igles Miller of Blakely, Georgia; three favorite nephews:  Rodney E. Igles, Walter Ed Ingram, and Ben Wimberly of Blakely, Georgia; a special niece, Ivy Ware of Tallahassee, FL.  He also leaves more nephews and nieces and a host of cousins and other relatives.
