Travis Lamar Price

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you
unto MYSELF; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:3).

Travis Lamar Price was born on March 13, 1978, in Blakely, Georgia.  He departed his earthly life on January 10, 2021, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital Northside in Columbus, Georgia.  

Travis attended the public schools of Early County.  He also attended Albany State University in Albany, Georgia.

Travis spent his adult life coaching and mentoring children in different counties.  He organized a Christmas toy drive, a back-to-school drive, breakfast with dads and moms at Early County Elementary School and a Valentine’s dance.  Travis’ main focus in life was to maintain a strong relationship with GOD and support his family.

Travis fell in love with the former Denita Thornton.  They were united in Holy Matrimony on March 17, 2012.

Travis leaves loving memories to be treasured by his devoted wife Denita Thornton Price; son Tyrus Price; two daughters Tyra Price and Aneshia Price; his parents Kennis and Gloria Price; brother Christopher Price (Paquita); sister Twanda Daniels (Jerry); grandmothers Ellen Gilbert and Mary Price; father-in-law Teddy Miller; mother-in-law Ellen Miller; sisters-in-law Litoya Thornton, April Thornton, Tiffany Miller and Breanna Miller; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends who loved him dearly.
