Willie James Sol

Mr. Willie James Sol was born on March 16, 1951, in Blakely, Georgia to the late Joyce Ann Mitchell and Richard Sol.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to his beloved, Nadine Wiggins.

Willie James was employed with the Early County Road Department until his health failed him. He retired after many years of loyal and dedicated service.

On Saturday, September 28, 2019, Willie James Sol’s earthly journey ended, and he entered into Eternal Rest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Sylvester Mitchell and Marc Allen Mitchell; and one stepdaughter, Lizzie Hutchins.

He leaves to cherish fond memories four devoted stepchildren: Christine Wimberly, Diane Brown (Alonzo), Faye Leath (Cornelius), and Ron Wiggins; three sisters: Brenda Ann Mitchell Thomas (Ray Sr.) of Montgomery, AL, Ronda Sackellares (Robert) of Atlanta, GA, and Wendy Allen of Birmingham, AL; one brother: Larry Denson of Suitland, MD; special aunt: Annie Pearl Sol of Pembroke Pines, FL; eighteen stepchildren: Patrick Wiggins, Shawn Hutchins, Confransico Hutchins, Quintin Wiggins, Antron Wiggins, Traverse Leath, Shunda Wiggins, Kakelia Wiggins, Javon Wiggins, and Christopher Lindsey; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; the Sol and Lee Families; special friend, William Earl Reed; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
